The Headlights

The lights came flickering through the trees. They tore through the streets, engines roaring and screaming on their way. The beams peirced through my eyes, ripping open my skull to pour memories on the sidewalk where we lay hand in hand. Our souls remained untouched by the smoking beast above us.We walked away from the wreck, our bodies bloodied and mangled, twisted and singed, but our spirits clean and new. Surreal tranquility.

I'm thinking I'll make this longer :/ what do u think?
